These terms apply when you order from Inspire Customs.
What you are buying
A physical print, made to order. We calculate the night sky above the exact date, time and coordinates you give us, render it, and have it printed and shipped by our print partners. Nothing is held in stock; your piece does not exist until you order it.
Getting your details right
The wording, date, time and place are yours to enter and yours to check. We show you the finished artwork before payment and ask you to confirm it, and that confirmation is recorded with your order. Because each piece is individually made, a mistake in what you typed is not grounds for a change-of-mind refund. See our returns page for everything we do cover.
The preview and its watermark
The image shown while you design your piece is the genuine artwork, marked with a visible watermark. That watermark does not appear on the item you receive. The watermarked preview is provided so you can judge the design before buying; it is not licensed for printing, reproduction or redistribution.
Ownership
The finished print is yours to keep, gift, frame and display. The underlying design, layout, typography and the software that generates it remain ours, and buying a print does not transfer them. Star positions themselves are facts about the sky and are owned by nobody.
Delivery
We sell and deliver to four countries only: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Checkout will not accept an address anywhere else. If an order somehow reaches us with a delivery address outside those four, we will cancel it and refund you in full rather than ship it.
Printing starts within roughly 72 hours and your order ships from whichever of our print partners is closest to you. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees; couriers occasionally run late and that is outside our control. Tracking is sent to you when the parcel leaves.
Price, tax and duties
Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe and your card details never reach our servers. Depending on where you are, sales tax, VAT or import duty may be charged separately by your local authority; those are not included in the price shown and are the recipient’s responsibility.
Acceptable content
You are responsible for the words you submit. We will not print material that is unlawful, hateful, threatening, obscene, or that infringes somebody else’s rights. If we decline an order on those grounds we will refund it in full.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
