Returns & Refunds

Last updated 2 September 2026

The short version: personalised pieces cannot be returned because you changed your mind, but if anything is wrong with your order we will put it right at our cost, and you will never have to post anything back to us.

Why there is no change-of-mind return

Every piece is calculated and printed for one date, one time and one set of coordinates, with your own wording on it. It cannot be sold to anybody else, so it is made to your specification in the ordinary legal sense. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (regulation 28), goods made to a consumer’s specification or clearly personalised are excluded from the usual 14 day cancellation right. The position is the same in the other markets we sell to: neither United States nor Canadian law grants a cooling off right on custom made goods, and the Australian Consumer Law guarantees cover faults and misdescription rather than a change of mind.

This is exactly why we show you the finished artwork before you pay and ask you to confirm the spelling, the date and the place. Please do read it carefully, because that check is the whole protection.

What we always put right, free

  • Damaged in transit. Send us a photo and we reprint and reship.
  • A printing or framing fault. Same answer: reprint, no argument.
  • Not what you ordered. Wrong size, wrong colourway, wrong artwork: our mistake, our cost.
  • Never arrived. If tracking stalls or the parcel is lost, we reprint and resend. You do not have to chase the courier.

Tell us within 30 days of delivery at hello@inspirecustoms.com. There is nothing to send back, because a photograph is enough.

A mistake in your own wording

We cannot correct it and we cannot refund it. Your order is sent to the printer within seconds of payment, automatically, so by the time anyone could read a message about it the piece is already being manufactured to the specification you approved.

This is precisely why the preview shows you the finished artwork rather than a mock-up, and why you are asked to tick a box confirming the spelling, the date and the place before you pay. That confirmation is recorded against your order. Please read the preview carefully, because it is the only opportunity to change anything.

Cancelling

Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. Manufacture begins immediately and without a human in the loop, and a piece calculated for one date and one set of coordinates cannot be sold to anybody else. Goods made to a consumer’s specification are excluded from the usual cancellation right for exactly this reason.

How refunds reach you

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within five business days at our end. How quickly it appears depends on your bank, typically a further 5 to 10 business days.

Your legal rights

None of the above affects your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
